Buildings are in the eye of the beholder: Image-based data collection of resident feedback

Abstract:

Surveys, interviews and focus groups are powerful ways to help us understand resident perceptions of their homes but a picture tells a thousand words. This seminar will explore how image-based data collection approaches, including Photovoice and virtual reality, can provide researchers with new perspectives on how residents perceive and engage with their homes. Example projects and lessons learned will also be shared.
