From Research to Practice: Insights from the Global Observatory on Peer-to-Peer Trading, Transactive Energy, and Collective Self-Consumption.

Abstract:

This webinar presented the final outputs of the Global Observatory on Peer-to-Peer, Collective Self-Consumption, and Transactive Energy (GO-P2P). Drawing on systematic literature reviews, international case studies, and expert insights, the session will highlight key findings on the policy, regulatory, social, and technological conditions necessary for the wider adoption of local energy market models. It will also introduce the public case study repository and share key insights from the final output report.

Launched in 2019, GO-P2P has brought together over 200 participants from academia, industry, non-profit organisations, and policy-making bodies across 10 member countries, with additional contributions from experts in 15 other countries. As the first international, pre-competitive research initiative in this field, GO-P2P has served as a global platform for interdisciplinary knowledge sharing and collaboration
