Introduction to the Energy Behaviour Forum and Behavioural Insights Toolkit

Abstract:

The Energy Behaviour Forum is a collaborative initiative designed to support local and regional authorities to promote energy efficient behaviour.

At this session, we’ll give an overview of the Forum, which offers knowledge sharing, training, case studies, and practical guidance to support impactful behaviour change programmes.

We’ll also unveil the Forum’s new Policy Toolkit, inspired by the Users TCP toolkit and tailored for beginners. Built on the COM-B framework and the Behaviour Change Wheel, the toolkit provides a step-by-step approach to designing behaviour change interventions; helping users to understand how behavioural insights can be used to accelerate the energy transition.
