Abstract:
Andreia Carreiro presents the 100 Villages Project in Portugal, which aims to tackle energy poverty in rural communities through access to locally produced clean electricity at affordable prices and no upfront investment needed. Partnering with local organisations, such as parish councils, social institutions, associations and industries, the project helps to create clean energy communities, using local installers and technicians.
